GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–According to Goose Creek Police, on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at 5:42 p.m. multiple callers reported shots fired in the area of McDonald’s at 109 N. Goose Creek Blvd. and Bi-Lo at 142 St. James Ave.
Police say a witness indicated that a blue vehicle and a gold vehicle were involved, however, officers say that additional information suggests a third vehicle, a dark in color SUV with large rims, may be involved as well.
Responding officers made contact with the tan Honda in the parking lot of the Sunoco at 200 St. James Ave. and identified two subjects associated with the vehicle.
As the officers approached, both subjects fled on foot.
One subject was apprehended near Brandywine Apartments.
Meanwhile, the other individual was found with a gunshot wound to the forearm near Etiwan Dr. and was transported to Trident Hospital.
Investigators responded and processed multiple scenes, to include one of the suspect vehicles found abandoned on Etiwan Dr.
Police are requesting assistance from anyone with information regarding the shootings, as well as information leading to the identification of the dark in color SUV with large rims.
Anyone with information should contact Investigator Riccio at 843-863-5200 ext. 2337.
