Governor Nikki Haley’s recent posting to her social media accounts have a whole lot of people talking.
One day after Christmas, Haley took to the web to post the following message to Instagram and Twitter:
“Our family had a wonderful Christmas together! I must have been good. Santa gave me a Beretta PX4 Storm.”
The message included a photo of the gun, which according to the manufacturer’s website, retails for $575.
Her posting quickly drew a slew of mixed reactions.
One person posted:
“Wow, Jesus would happy, huh? Great way to celebrate his b-day. Shameless pandering indeed.”
Others, chose to give Haley props.
“Awesome gift. People who think guns kill people probably think it’s the cars fault in a drunk driving accident also,” said another person.
On Instagram, nearly 200 people have “liked” her comments about the Christmas present from her husband.
On Haley’s Twitter account, more than 200 people have made her comment a “favorite” while nearly 300 people have retweeted it.
