Roger James Gray, age 83, of Hanahan, South Carolina, passed away on April 28, 2026. Born in Edmonton, England, in 1943, Roger migrated to Canada in 1970 and later to the United States in 1991, building a life filled with laughter, love, and unwavering devotion to his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Louise (Hurrell) Gray, and his beloved grandson, Zachary Zyta.

Roger is survived by his beloved wife, Linden, with whom he shared 58 loving years of marriage. He is also survived by his daughter, Louise Zyta (Dave), and their children, Nick, Tyler, Erinn, Cooper, and Chase, all of Wellesley, Ontario, Canada; and by his son, Dr. Christopher Gray (Holly), and granddaughter Emmalyn, of Summerville, South Carolina. He cherished all of his children and grandchildren.

Roger was a man loved by so many — someone who lit up every room he walked into. He had a natural gift for making people laugh and bringing joy wherever he went. Known as a fixer of all things, Roger was always ready to help, solve a problem, or lend a steady hand, often without being asked.

Above all else, he cherished his family and took immense pride in each of them. His warmth, humor, generosity, and presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the love he shared.
