GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – If you travel along St. James Avenue as part of your regular commute, you may want to find an alternate route over the next few hours.
The Charleston Water System is urging drivers to avoid St. James Avenue near Thomason Boulevard as crews repair a 12-inch water main over the next several hours.
“Traffic should be back to normal later tonight,” the water utility company said via social media.
The break is in front of Alex’s Restaurant. Very few customers, if any, are without water, according to the company.
