PINOPOLIS, S.C. – Santee Cooper is shifting to its fall and winter operating hours for the Pinopolis Navigational Lock on Lake Moultrie at Jefferies Hydroelectric Station.
Effective Sunday, Nov. 6, as daylight saving time ends, the lock will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or 30 minutes before sunset, whichever is earlier.
The lock system does not operate during inclement weather or rough water conditions, Santee Cooper reminded.
All parties are encouraged to call in advance at 843-899-LOCK (5625). Digital signage at the lock will display the current operating status.
