Biker killed in Moncks Corner collision

MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–According to Berkeley Co. Coroner Bill Salisbury, one man is dead after a deadly collision in Moncks Corner.

On June 7, 2014 at 2:15 p.m. a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided on Nelson Ferry Road in Moncks Corner.

Salisbury says a motorcycle and pickup truck collided on Nelson Ferry Road at 2:15 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle, 32-year-old Piere Yeadon of Moncks Corner, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The death is ruled accidental and the cause of death is head and body trauma. The coroner says Yeadon was not wearing a helmet.

The accident was investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
