PINEVILLE, S.C.–A spokesperson for the American Red Cross says the organization assisted a family of four, three adults and one child, whose Pineville home located on Wigginwood Lane was destroyed by fire early Saturday morning.
The Pineville Fire Department responded to the blaze.
The Red Cross provided financial assistance for food and clothing, as well as comfort kits, containing personal hygiene items, and referrals to partner organizations to help with the family’s long-term recovery.
Since January 1, 2014, the Palmetto SC Region of the American Red Cross has assisted more than 1500 individuals who have been affected by a disaster.
