BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Tuesday will be a busy day of voting in Berkeley County. While the sheriff’s race and county supervisor race have taken center stage in the Republican primary, there are
several other races voters will determine.
Voters will also cast their ballots for the following:
- Lieutenant Governor
- State Treasurer
- State Superintendent of Education
- Adjutant General
- Commission of Agriculture
- U.S. Senate
- Clerk of Court
There are several county council seats on the ballot as well:
- Berkeley Co. Council District 4 Candidates
1. Aldo Napoli
2. Tommy Newell
3. Jim Royce - Berkeley County Council District 5
1. Dennis Fish
2. Bud Thames
- Berkeley Co. Council District 4 Candidates
1. James Law
2. Jack Schulurknight
3. Baron Thomas
According to Berkeley Co. Elections & Registration Director, his office hopes to have a final count of the results by 9 p.m.
“My goal is earlier but with folks coming all the way from Daniel Island with results, we believe 9 p.m. is a realistic timeline,” he stated.
Voters will also vote “yes” or “no” on two amendments.
