HANAHAN, S.C. – A Hanahan police officer is recovering following a crash Thursday evening on Henry E. Brown Boulevard near Stanhope Drive, HPD Chief Rick Gebhardt said.
The collision occurred around 5:15 p.m. and two other vehicles were involved, the police chief said.

The officer was transported to the hospital; however, their injuries were not life threatening, according to Gebhardt.
No other details were provided. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
