BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley Co. Coroner Bill Salisbury, 27-year-old Inetha Pelote, from Cross, was walking near her home on highway 45 when she was struck by a truck Friday around 10:30 p.m.
The coroner says she was transported to MUSC and pronounced dead at 1:18 a.m. on July 19.
The death is being investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the SC Highway Patrol.
