GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–According to Captain John Grainger, at approximately 2:05 p.m. police were dispatched to the Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 214 St. James Ave. in reference to a robbery.
Upon arrival, officers met with pharmacy workers who told them that a white man had approached the pharmacy counter, pointed a pistol that was and remained in his waistband and demanded a particular controlled substance.
The requested substance was placed in a shopping bag and handed to the suspect at which time he fled the store via the front door and got into a green vehicle that was waiting in front of the store.
The vehicle departed the premises onto Central Ave.
Grainger says the robbery suspect is a white male wearing a dark hat. He has â843â tattooed to his neck and tattoos on both of his forearms.
The driver of the vehicle was a white male. No other description of the driver is available.
There were no injuries attributed to this incident.
