BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.—Around 5 p.m. Sunday, Berkeley Co. deputies responded to a double stabbing on South Live Oak Drive in Moncks Corner.
According to Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s Spokesperson Dan Moon, one person was stabbed in the hand and another person was stabbed in the chest area.
Their injuries are reportedly non-life threatening.
It’s believed the incident occurred after an issue over trespassing. Moon says deputies arrived on scene just in time to prevent further injuries.
He also added that one person has been taken into custody; however, the suspect’s name has not been released at this time.
