BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to an American Red Cross representative, volunteers with the organization assisted two adults whose home, located on Oaklawn Dr. in Moncks Corner, SC, was destroyed by fire Wednesday.
The Pimlico Fire Department along with several other agencies responded to the blaze.
The Red Cross provided financial assistance for food and clothing and referrals to assist the adults with their long term recovery.
Last year the Palmetto South Carolina Region assisted 7,118 individuals affected by disaster in South Carolina.
