HUGER, S.C.–The American Red Cross assisted an adult whose Huger residence, located on Ladson Lane, sustained fire damage on Thursday.
The Cainhoy Fire Department responded to the blaze.
The Red Cross provided financial assistance for food and clothing, and referrals to partner organizations to help with long-term recovery.
Last year, the Palmetto South Carolina Region assisted 7,118 individuals affected by disaster.
