GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – With temperatures dropping as low as 30 degrees Thursday night, one Goose Creek church will open its doors as a warming shelter to anyone who needs a place away from the cold.
Goose Creek United Methodist Church will again open as a warming center tonight, Thursday, Jan. 4.
Intake will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The center will be open until 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5.
A hot meal, cot and linens will be provided.
The church is at 142 Red Bank Rd. in Goose Creek.
