BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.—On Monday, Simeon Passmore, 49, faced a judge in bond court after deputies say he attacked two people with a knife. He’s charged with first degree assault and battery.
On Sunday, deputies responded to 1455 South Live Oak Drive in Moncks Corner where they say they found a woman suffering from stab wounds to the chest and a man with cuts to his hand.
The victims reportedly told deputies that they lived on the property and the landlord left them in charge of watching over it as well.
They told deputies that on Sunday they noticed that a door to a storage unit was opened and went to investigate it further.
As they did, the victims told officers that Passmore charged at them with a knife.
According to the incident report, the victims had never seen Passmore before.
Deputies eventually arrested Passmore, and he was booked into the Hill-Finklea Detention Center.
A judge gave him a $25,000 bond, and he was ordered to have no contact with the victims.
Passmore is due back in court on January 9th, 2015.
