MONCKS CORNER, SC – United States Senator Tim Scott will officially swear in Bill Peagler as Berkeley County Supervisor on January 2, 2015 at noon inside the Berkeley County Council Chambers.
“Senator Scott’s leadership in serving the people with limited government principles is exactly the type of leadership I am proud to have provided as Mayor of Moncks Corner and will continue to provide as County Supervisor,” said Peagler. “I am extremely humbled and honored that Senator Scott will be conducting my formal swearing in ceremony.”
Peagler is currently the mayor of Moncks Corner.
In June, he defeated longtime county supervisor Dan Davis for the job. Peagler received 56. 2% of the vote.
Davis received 43.80% of the vote.
