MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–The brand new Moncks Corner Chick-Fil-A will celebrate its grand opening bright and early Thursday morning.
People are expected to be camping out Wednesday night in an attempt to be the first 100 inside the door when the restaurant opens for breakfast at 5:30 a.m.
The first 100 people inside the door will win Chick-Fil-A food for a year.
‘The First 100’ event is a long-standing tradition where Chick-Fil-A invites 100 people to celebrate the grand opening of each new restaurant.
Company representatives say it’s an opportunity for owner-operators and team members to connect with the community they will be serving and get to know the neighbors.
“Everyone I have met has shared their enthusiasm that Chick-fil-A is finally coming,” stated Justin Clark, the restaurant’s owner and operator. “The community’s hospitality has been a blessing to me and my wife, Jenny.”
