Wingstop Opens First Moncks Corner Restaurant

Popular chicken chain opens its third Lowcountry location at 413 Drive In Lane, serving wings, tenders and chicken sandwiches daily until midnight

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. — Wing lovers in Berkeley County have a new place to satisfy their cravings.

Wingstop officially opened its first Moncks Corner restaurant on Wednesday, expanding the popular chicken chain’s presence in the Lowcountry with a new location at 413 Drive In Lane, next to Fish Bowl Ice Cream in the former Jimmy John’s building.

The restaurant is the third Wingstop in the Lowcountry, joining existing locations on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston and Dorchester Road in Summerville.

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Wingstop has grown into one of the world’s largest chicken wing restaurant brands. The company now operates more than 3,000 restaurants across 17 global markets.

Wingstop has built its reputation around made-to-order chicken, offering classic bone-in wings, boneless wings, crispy tenders and chicken sandwiches tossed in one of 12 bold, distinctive flavors. Customers can also choose from signature sides and the restaurant’s popular house-made ranch and bleu cheese dipping sauces.
