Berkeley County Coroner ID’s Motorcyclist Killed in on Sigma Drive Crash

Authorities say 27-year-old Summerville man died at the scene

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. — A 27-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash in Berkeley County, according to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.

Officials say the incident occurred around 3:37 p.m. on April 22 along Sigma Drive. The motorcyclist, identified as Gage M. Ventry of Summerville, was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Despite emergency response efforts, Ventry was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the collision, authorities said.

Berkeley County EMS and Summerville Fire & Rescue responded to the crash.

The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Summerville Police Department are investigating the incident.
