MONCKS CORNER, S.C. — Cypress Gardens is gearing up for a busy holiday weekend as its popular splash pad reopens Saturday, giving families a fresh way to cool off as temperatures climb and school lets out for summer.

The park announced the splash pad will operate daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Park staff reminded visitors that all children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian while using the water features.

Although the splash pad officially opened to the public last May, this weekend marks its seasonal return. The attraction includes a tipping bucket, water cannons, shaded picnic areas, restrooms, and other amenities designed to be accessible and inclusive for children of all abilities. It’s part of a series of recent upgrades aimed at expanding family‑friendly options at the Berkeley County park.

Access to the splash pad is included with regular Cypress Gardens admission: $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6–17, and $6.50 for seniors, military members, and 911 personnel. Children 5 and under are free.

Cypress Gardens is located at 3030 Cypress Gardens Road in Moncks Corner.
