BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – An action-packed car, truck and motorcycle show is set to soon roll into Berkeley County, with organizers emphasizing that the event is about far more than chrome, horsepower and bragging rights.
The show, which is part of missions fundraising by Victory Baptist Church, will take place on May 9, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 219 N. Highway 52 in Moncks Corner, rallying local auto enthusiasts and families to support outreach efforts serving children and families in Honduras.
Organizers describe the event as a chance to turn passion into purpose. “Join us for a high‑energy car, truck, and motorcycle show where every engine, every entry, and every dollar fuels something greater — bringing hope, healing, and the love of Jesus Christ to children and families in Honduras. Organizers say the fundraising directly supports mission work in a rural mountain community near Tegucigalpa, Honduras — a region where families face deep poverty and limited access to essential services.
“This isn’t just about showing off your ride, it’s about changing lives,” organizers said. “Every dollar raised helps send our team to Honduras, where we will share the healing, hope‑filled love of Jesus Christ through service, relationship, and action.”
Funds raised will support:
- A children’s home caring for roughly 40 children who have faced abandonment, poverty, abuse and loss — now living in a safe, loving, Christ‑centered environment.
- A local school serving more than 180 students, where volunteers help provide education, teach English and support families in the community.
